I’m excited to announce that Peak Training Whistler is teaming up with the powerhouse Danielle Boyd of The Balanced Collective and Shawna Barker of Synergy Nutrition to bring you the escape of a lifetime. I’m bringing fitness from the mountains to the beautiful beaches of Sayulita, Mexico in March 23-30 2019 and I want YOU to be a part of it!

If you’ve never been to Sayulita before, you are in for a treat! The colourful streets, the beautiful people and the delicious food are just a couple of the highlights in this magical oceanside town. Everything is within walking distance through it’s meandering cobblestone streets. From a busy, action-packed main beach covered in sun bathers and surfers to more mellow vibes along the beach on the north end, Sayulita has it all.

Surrounded by lush mountains, perfect surf breaks and stellar sunsets, Sayulita is dream location to explore, adventure and recharge. Did I mention there’s margaritas the size of your head? *winning*

We are looking for individuals who are keen to move and love to explore while getting to know other like minded people. Your fitness level is not important. All of the workouts and adventures are tailored to your needs and abilities. The only criteria is your desire to have FUN!
 
We ask that attendants are open to new experiences and excited to share this journey with us. This isn’t just a dream retreat for you… this is a dream come true for us too!

Your Retreat Dream Team

You will be hosted by an energetic and knowledgeable team to guide you through your week. What makes us different is that our retreat teams consists of individuals who have dedicated their careers and education to health and wellness. The Balanced Experience team is comprised of a physical therapist, a food educator and nutritionist, and a kinesiologist and personal trainer, with a combined 15 years of education and extensive experience in each of their fields.

Danielle Boyd is the brains behind The Balanced Collective. Having completed a Master’s in Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia in 2014, she is a firm believer in a holistic, total body approach to health and wellness. She believes our bodies are an integrated system made up of many inputs, all governed by the nervous system. Danielle has trained and extensively studied the nervous system, its role in movement, pain and overall wellness and use unique and cutting edge tools to optimize it.

Danielle will be your practitioner for the one-on-one bodywork sessions and will be running you through a mobility/rehab group session each evening.

Shawna Barker BSc., RHN is a nutritionist, raw food educator, college instructor, and an expert in plant-based nutrition. She is passionate about natural health and sustainable living. This interest led her to graduate with honours from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelors of Science degree in Food, Nutrition and Health, as well as the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition with a Diploma in Holistic Nutrition.

Shawna will be providing us with delicious and nutritious plant-based, local foods throughout the week.

Meaghan Sutter, BA(Hons)Kin, CPT is the face of Peak Training Whistler and the creator of the unique Babes & Barbells course. Her passion for improving the quality of life of her clients is what drives her thriving personal training and rehabilitation business in Whistler, BC.

She’s an avid traveller that loves to explore every chance she gets. A retreat in Mexico has been on her bucket list since the inception of her business so this is truly a dream come true!

Meaghan will be leading you through the daily morning workouts and assisting with any of your individualized rehabilitation needs.

COST (USD)

From $1999 double occupancy and $2499 single occupancy (more rooming configurations available on request - email for more information). A deposit of 20% will be required to hold your place for The Balanced Experience Sayulita. The remainder of the fee will be due 60 days prior to the beginning of the trip. Payment plans are available on request.

Registration Deadline is December 20th, 2018. Your flight is not included. Please read our terms and conditions here.
