WHAT’s it all about?

This isn't going to be your regular butt-kicking kind of class; this will be a weight room education.

You will learn the fundamental movements of the squat, bench press, deadlift and pull-up along with various supporting exercises including core work.

You will finish the course with a full body, 4-day split program to workout with on your own.

We will also cover topics such as the importance of warm-ups, mobility, recovery and pre-workout nutrition.

WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?

Each class is 75-minutes of hands-on instruction that will give you the tools to walk into a weight room with confidence.

The groups will be limited to 4 people giving you more one-on-one time.

Every week we will identify areas of strength, weakness and limitation within your body for a completely individualized experience.

You will be sent home with handouts and homework explaining why you're learning what you're learning and how to do things properly.

WHat are the details?

Classes will be held at Peak Training + Rehab Studio in Function Junction - Unit 214-1420 Alpha Lake Road.

$175 per person + GST

Next Course:

WHat are they saying?

“I started training with Meaghan when I was lucky enough to snag one of the last spots in her Babes and Barbells program. Heading into it, I mostly wanted to be comfortable in the gym and be able to confidently use equipment and machines knowing I was using them properly and not making a fool of myself. Meaghan definitely helped me to achieve all of that! She is so knowledgeable, patient, kind, and knows just how far to push you so you are working hard. I learned so much from her through the amazing B&B program, and cannot recommend it enough! Meaghan is AMAZING!”

“Highly recommend Meaghan's Babes & Barbells course. She is the real deal! I actually enjoy going to the gym now thanks to her motivation and workout plan focusing on deadlifts, bench press, squats and rows/pulls. Couldn't ask for a better way to prep for summer especially biking and hiking season. Grab a friend or sign up solo you won't be disappointed. The small group size is amazing and I hope to see a Babes & Barbells 2.0 course :)”

"I did the 4 weeks Babes and Barbells with Meaghan, and it was the best use of my time at the gym EVER!! Meaghan explained so many things to us which we had been doing wrong for years in all area's of life (applied to classes, gym, skiing, at home etc.)

She gave us great handouts explaining the info, as well as the opportunity in class to write down tips specific to our unique questions etc.

Most importantly she talked in non technical terms, so I didn't need any knowledge of anatomy or be a gym junkie to understand her! Also was super friendly, funny, and easy to chat with, which made the whole course lots of fun too!

In one class, I found out why my knees have hurt when doing exercises for years! I've asked physio's, chiro's, and a variety of other personal trainers and no one ever had the answer.... So happy now, it's made such a difference to my life!, i'm no longer scared to bend over and pick something up for fear of pain! - All gone! And i'm seeing the benefit in everything else I do also!

Thanks Meaghan, you're a rockstar, and you are my permanent "Go to Guru" for all stuff in future, so please don't ever leave Whistler!! We all need you!"

“Meaghan takes the time to ensure each individuals needs are met and that any "weak" spots are addressed. Her priority is each babes form and safety. She is positive, fun, no-bullsh*t, motivating and kind. Meaghan is a total badass and makes you feel confident in the weight room with her! Great educational course with an amazing fitness program to work on afterwards as a product. Highly recommend to any babe - literally good for every girl to know and understand!”
